Larsen's Tented Camp

Situated along the banks of the Uaso Nyiro River, under the shade of giant acacia trees is the wonderful Larsen’s Tented Camp. Larsen’s is a classic style bush camp where even the bar and dining rooms are tented. In the evening guests sit around a campfire with the enormous African sky overhead. Each of the 17 luxury tents faces the river and has a private deck where you can sit and observe the wildlife. The spacious luxury tents are beautifully furnished with comfortable beds, full linens, en-suite bathrooms with flush toilet, vanity and hot showers.

Ververt monkeys cavort in the trees and animals - especially elephant - come to the river to drink. Larsen’s is also host to a multitude of exotic birds.

The dining tent is open on three sides and faces the river. A first class dinner elegantly served by candlelight on tables set with silver and Larsen’s china. There is also a lounge that stocks a number of board games and a library of magazines and wildlife books.

Larsen’s Tree house provides close up wildlife viewing and is an excellent place to enjoy a sundowner.
